Don’t allow yourself to be guilted or otherwise forced into doing something you don’t want to do today. That’s right - don’t ALLOW it to happen. Yes, you are in control of a situation yet you seem to be relinquishing your rights. But before you give up and give in, consider the following: if you go along with a plan you don’t agree with, you will only wind up being angry at yourself, spending a lot of time feeling guilty and angry, and replaying the whole scenario over and over in your head and wondering why you didn’t just say no.
